What Does LBMA Good Delivery Mean?

LBMA Good Delivery is the most widely accepted international standard for investment-grade precious metals bars. Bars meeting this specification are accepted by central banks, bullion banks, and exchanges worldwide.

Requirements

For a refiner to appear on the LBMA Good Delivery List, they must:

  • Demonstrate a minimum of five years of precious metals refining experience
  • Meet minimum annual production thresholds
  • Pass rigorous testing of sample bars
  • Undergo regular proactive monitoring
